Adult volunteer opportunities in Great Bend

At The University of Kansas Health System in Great Bend, spiritual care volunteers make a difference in the lives of our patients. They spend their time primarily in the Emergency Department, labor and delivery, and inpatient areas of the hospital.

To become a volunteer, we require:

• A completed volunteer application
• Blood test to check for TB and immunity against childhood diseases
• Flu shot
• Hospital orientation and training
• Personal interview
