Spiritual Care

Our spiritual care specialists are available by request to patients and their loved ones 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All of our spiritual care providers can connect you with an ordained minister who is able to administer sacraments.

Our spiritual care team includes board-certified chaplains, clinical pastoral fellows, residents, interns and volunteers who minister to patients and their loved ones with prayer, counsel, devotional materials, rituals and sacramental needs.

Sanctuaries

If  you need a quiet place to reflect, pray or meditate, we offer 2 dedicated spaces on our main campus.

Located next to the main lobby entrance, Bell Sanctuary offers patients and their families, physicians, staff and community members a place to pray, worship, meditate or simply have a moment of silence. The interfaith space includes a prayer wall where anyone can share a prayer request and niches displaying religious icons from many faith traditions. Separate is the Respite Room, which is located across the hall for families to gather privately.

The sanctuary is available 24/7, and the Respite Room can be requested through the spiritual care team.

Located on Level One of Cambridge Tower A, the Bob and Emily Honse Chapel is open to all patients, staff and guests. Described as a "place of peace, hope and healing," the interfaith chapel features a prayer wall and an open space where anyone can gather to reflect.
