Telehealth Appointments

Telehealth, sometimes referred to as video visits, allows you to receive care from a provider remotely as an alternative to an in-person visit. It is a secure, convenient way to meet your telehealth provider wherever you are, through live video communication.

Telehealth visits can save patient time and effort by eliminating travel, waiting rooms and other disruptions to their daily routine. It offers quick access to care from the comfort of home, which can be especially helpful for follow-ups or minor concerns that don’t require a physical examination. In the winter months, telehealth can be a safe option to avoid travel in inclement weather.

Accessing a telehealth appointment

Telehealth visits are conducted through MyChart. You must have a MyChart account and a device with audio and video capabilities to schedule a telehealth appointment.

On the day of your appointment you will receive a link to connect via text or email 30 minutes before your scheduled visit time.

Once connected, you'll be able to see and hear your provider just as though you were together in a traditional office visit. Based on this interaction, your provider will assess your condition and make recommendations for your ongoing care.
