Exciting Enhancements Happening at Olathe Medical Center
Construction is taking place in several locations throughout Olathe Medical Center (OMC) and Doctors Building 1 (DB1) over the next few months. These enhancements will have a positive impact on patient care and the patient and visitor experience in our facilities.
You may experience some noise and traffic flow changes inside and outside the building. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during these temporary occurrences.
Signs will be posted to clearly communicate the closures and traffic flow changes. Please ask any Olathe Health associate if you have questions or need help getting to your destination. Thank you!

Have you had an exceptional experience with one of our nurses or clinical associates? We want to know about it! Nominate an extraordinary associate for the DAISY® Award for nurses or the BEE Award for clinical support staff.
The DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. The DAISY Foundation was established by the family
of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family. When he died, they felt compelled to say “thank you” to nurses.
The BEE (BEE-ing Exceptional Everyday) Award is a recognition program that honors and celebrates our clinical support staff who help care for our patients. Clinical support staff include associates like Patient Access Representatives, EVS staff, lab techs, radiology techs, patient care techs, medical assistants,
respiratory therapists, rehabilitation therapists and more.
