In some instances, some locations will become a provider-based billing practice. This is a common model across large health systems. It means the doctor’s office where you receive care is considered a department of The University of Kansas Hospital. As such, you may receive separate statements for your provider’s professional services and for charges from the facility in which you received those services.
In other instances, you may still receive bills from Olathe Health and its providers for laboratory, imaging or other services rendered at other Olathe Health locations throughout integration.
