With Patient Portal, you can communicate securely with your clinic physician and staff, request appointments, submit prescription renewal requests, view test results and manage your health profile. To register for Patient Portal, please contact staff at Olathe Medical Center, Miami County Medical Center or your Olathe Health Physicians primary care provider’s clinic and ask them to sign you up. Registered users can log in here.

Though not always visible, varicose veins typically are enlarged veins raised above the surface of the skin. Most noticeable when standing, they may appear blue or purple and have a bulging, rope-like appearance. In addition to being unsightly, varicose veins can cause other problems, ranging from pain, fatigue and swelling to more serious skin and tissue problems.

For many people, varicose veins cause no pain. They are simply unsightly dark blue, twisted bulges beneath the skin. For others, there are symptoms but no visible signs. Whatever your concerns, this condition often develops into a very real problem, causing significant discomfort and decreased quality of life.
Symptoms of a leg vein disorder include:
• Pain
• Swelling
• Fatigue
• Restlessness
• Burning
• Heaviness
• Skin discoloration
• Rash
• Ulcers and non-healing sores
