The Birth Place provides mothers, newborns and families with vast resources and highly specialized caregivers to make your birth experience unforgettable. Our Level II NICU staff includes registered nurses specially trained in the care of high-risk newborns, neonatal nurse practitioners and board-certified neonatologists. We are equipped with specialized monitoring equipment to care for ill and premature newborn infants born at 32 weeks gestational age or greater. We also care for full-term babies who need extra support. If an emergency should arise, we have specialists available in the nursery 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Patient and visitor information
From I-35 S., take exit 215 for US-169 S./KS-7 S./KS-7 N. toward Paola.
Take the exit toward Indian Trail/Jr. High School/Olathe South High School.
Make a slight right onto the 151st Street ramp.
Merge onto W. 151st Street.
Turn left onto the Access Road and the destination is on the right.
Free parking is available directly in front of the entrance. Enter through the double glass doors at the main entrance to The Birth Place on the north side of the building. Upon entering the building, check in at the security desk.
