Congratulations to Terri Koehler, RN, Nurse Educator at Olathe Medical Center!

Terri is instrumental in running the residency program at Olathe Health, coordinates continuing education, chairs the Professional Education Committee and the Pain Performance Improvement Committee, sits on various other committees, and coordinates the monthly nursing newsletter, The Beacon.

“Terri is an amazing educator, and her love for teaching comes through in all that she does, from creating a nursing residency program to being a mom of four kids,” Kristen Toms, MSN, RN, Education Manager at Olathe Health, said. “She is creative, hardworking and always looking for new ways to keep education interesting and engaging. I am truly honored to work with her.”

Terri has been with Olathe Health for nine years. Her coworkers say her tremendous skill set, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills have made their team better.

The Outstanding Associate award recognizes associates throughout our health network who are role models of the Olathe Health mission, help progress their departments and the whole organization, and provide exceptional experiences for patients and visitors. Six Outstanding Associates are chosen annually. One of these recipients is chosen by senior leadership for the prestigious Frank H. Devocelle Legacy Award.
