Our Certified Manual Therapists focus their attention on the diagnosis and assessment of each joint, as well as the surrounding soft tissue.
Manual Therapy is the use of skilled hand movements intended to produce any or all of the following effects: improve tissue extensibility; increase range of motion of the joint complex; mobilize or manipulate soft tissues and joints; induce relaxation; change muscle function; modulate pain; and reduce soft tissue swelling, inflammation or movement restriction.
Our Certified Manual Therapists have completed extensive training and have developed advanced diagnostic skills for assessing musculoskeletal disorders. They focus their attention on the diagnosis and assessment of each joint, as well as the surrounding soft tissue. These Physical Therapists form a progressive treatment plan consisting of joint and soft tissue mobilization and manipulation.
