PAOLA, Kan. (March 21, 2017) – Rehabilitation Services in Paola, a service of Miami County Medical Center (MCMC), is moving to an expanded location. The clinic — at 1312 Kansas Drive — is three times larger than the current location at MCMC.
The new location will provide convenient access, private consult rooms for patients and space for additional therapy equipment. The therapists at the clinic provide a full range of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services. Most patients are referred by a physician; however, patients can come directly to the clinic for physical therapy without a physician referral, as long as their insurance doesn’t require a referral.
Therapists will begin seeing patients at the new clinic Monday, April 10. A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house is scheduled for Friday, April 28 at 10 a.m. as part of the Paola Chamber of Commerce coffee. The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting and tour the new space.
MCMC now operates four outpatient rehabilitation clinics, with services in Paola, Osawatomie, Louisburg and Spring Hill. For more information about Rehabilitation Services in Miami County, visit our Rehabilitation Services page or call 913-294-6679.
