New Quivira Campus Opening Announced

After months of planning, design and construction, The University of Kansas Health System is excited to announce the Quivira Campus at 12000 W. 151st St., Olathe, KS 66062, will open in mid-June.

Bringing leading-edge specialty care from 1 of the region’s premier academic medical centers to the southwest Kansas City area, the facility will help fulfill the health system’s promise to bring more care close to home in the Olathe community.

“We are so pleased to see this beautiful, state-of-the-art facility so close to opening its doors to begin seeing patients,” said Jason Hannagan, CEO of the health system’s southwest market. “We value every opportunity to bring leading specialty healthcare to patients close to home and are especially proud of this facility as an early proof point of the benefits made possible by the relationship between the health system and Olathe Health.”

The first building on the Quivira Campus, Quivira Medical Pavilion A, will offer care in orthopedics, physical and occupational therapy, plastic surgery and urology as well as lab and imaging services. Key features include:

  • Centralized Level 1 patient check-in desk
  • 30 exam rooms and 4 procedure rooms
  • 5 physical and occupational therapy rooms plus a gym
  • Imaging services including MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray and screening mammogram
  • Outpatient lab services
  • Coffee shop

Approximately 6 months following the Level 1 opening, the facility will add an ambulatory surgery center offering surgeries and procedures in the same specialties plus gynecology.

Except for its coffee shop, the Quivira Campus facilities will be cashless for optimal cleanliness and security. Our centralized customer service team is happy to support all questions related to billing and payment, especially for Olathe Health patients who may also receive care from practices that have not yet become official health system locations.
