Nurse Residency Program

New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

A three-month program, starting February 3, 2020, for licensed new graduate RNs from accredited ADN or BSN schools of nursing.

The Nursing Residency Program includes:

  • Working rotations with preceptor on Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, and/or CCU
  • Work 36 hours per week Monday-Friday
  • Learning experiences in Wound Care, Emergency Care, Cath Lab, Laboratory, Day Surgery, PACU, GI Lab, & Respiratory Therapy
  • Formal education including online, in-class and simulation
  • Completion of a Basic EKG Rhythm course at end of program
  • Full-time positions only

Upon successful completion of this program, we will offer residents open positions (night or day shift, as available) on the Med/Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care or Critical Care units. (NOTE: Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, NICU & ER units are NOT included.)

How to Apply:

Application Requirements:

  • All accepted residents in the program must have passed NCLEX and received licensure prior to start, however, you can apply before graduation and NCLEX
  • Two letters of recommendation from current nursing instructors are required at application
