Olathe Medical Center among Nation's Top Performing Hospitals for Treatment of Heart Attack Patients
Olathe Medical Center (OMC) has received the American College of Cardiology's NCDR Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2019. The Platinum award is the premier award from the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and is only awarded to 225 hospitals nationwide.
This is the eighth consecutive year OMC has received a Platinum Recognition from the ACC for cardiac care. OMC is also one of only 15 hospitals in the country chosen as a Diplomat Hospital as part of the ACC's Patient Navigator Program: Focus MI Quality Campaign.
"At Olathe Medical Center, we treat our patients like they're our family, and we're always trying to provide the latest and greatest treatment for them right here close to home," Dusan Stanojevic, MD, a cardiologist at OMC, said. "From cutting-edge procedures to the personalized care patients receive from our team in the hospital, we do everything we can to ensure our patients get the best treatment."
The NDCR Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement award recognizes OMC's commitment and success in consistently treating heart attack patients according to the most current, evidence-based guidelines.
