Sibling Preparation Class

Kids will learn about newborn behaviors, different feelings they might have about their new sibling, how they can help care for the baby, and are reminded to ask permission from an adult before holding baby.

This class is designed to help children feel more comfortable with the hospital setting and with the new family addition.

Class content is most appropriate for ages 3-10, but other ages are welcome. Together, families will see a newborn baby and a hospital room like the one they will visit after delivery. 

  • The $10 cost is per family.
  • One parent is required, both are welcome.
  • Each child receives a certificate. 

Note: This class is not designed to prepare children to attend a birth.
