CORE4 12-Week Adult Weight Management Program: FALL SESSION 12 to 1

CORE4 is a comprehensive weight management and lifestyle program that utilizes an interactive group setting for support. Nutrition education, physical activity and behavior modification modules work together to provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to successfully manage your health by making simple decisions every day that are based on your personalized health goals and priorities in life.

CORE4 begins with a one-on-one nutritional assessment session followed by 11 group sessions with a Registered Dietitian. Classes meet once per week for about an hour. Registration deadline is August 20.

CORE4 is a comprehensive weight management and lifestyle program that utilizes an interactive group setting for support. Nutrition education, physical activity and behavior modification modules work together to provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to successfully manage your health by making simple decisions every day that are based on your personalized health goals and priorities in life.

CORE4 begins with a one-on-one nutritional assessment session followed by 11 group sessions with a Registered Dietitian. Classes meet once per week for about an hour.

What CORE4 Participants Can Expect:

  • Individualized recommendations and coaching
  • Group interaction and support
  • Expertise from Registered Dietitians

    • Behavior Modification Program Component: The Appetite Awareness Workbook
  • Confidential weigh-ins and measurements (including percent body fat) taken at beginning, middle and end of the 12-week program 

What is Expected of CORE4 Participants:

  • Attendance at weekly group meetings (Each person is permitted two make-up sessions, if necessary during the 2019 New Year Session)
  • Weekly goal setting
  • Complete reading assignments
  • Complete weekly food, activity and appetite awareness journaling
  • Maintain a positive attitude to uphold a judgment-free group experience
  • A strong desire to lose weight and improve your health, with an understanding that it is NOT a quick fix

CORE4 FALL SESSION classes are held on Thursdays in August, September, October and November. Registration will close on Monday, August 20 at 12 p.m.

Session 9: Choosing Wisely: Protein and Water – Thursday, October 25
Session 10: Choosing Wisely: Vitamins and Minerals – Thursday, November 1
Session 11: Stress, Sleep and Extreme Diets – Thursday, November 8
Session 12: Moving On – Thursday, November 15

CORE4 is an Adult Weight Management program developed by Sodexo Registered Dietitians that utilizes evidenced-based research and guidelines from The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and other national organizations.
