Emergency Medicine

Never is time more critical nor care more urgent than in a medical emergency. Emergency care centers at both Olathe Medical Center and Miami County Medical Center maintain an around-the-clock readiness, staffed with board-certified emergency physicians and with a network of support personnel throughout each hospital, ready to respond to any health crisis in Olathe Health System's five-county service area.

With close ties to emergency responders in our communities, our emergency facilities are prepped for the patient’s arrival, having already received telemetric statistics on the patient’s condition en route. This puts time on our side and most importantly, on the side of our patients.

The Emergency Care Centers at Olathe Medical Center and Miami County Medical Center are open and available to you at all times.

However, if your medical need is urgent, but not requiring the level of care available at an emergency department, please be aware that Olathe Health System also provides the following urgent care clinic for non-emergencies.

  • Urgent Care of Olathe (urgent care clinic fo conditions that prompt attention, but do not pose an immediate, serious threat to your health,  like sprains, broken bones, minor cuts and burns, animal bites, etc.)

During a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
