OLATHE, KAN. (Aug. 21, 2012) – Olathe Medical Center is opening a new rehabilitation clinic to meet the needs of a growing Gardner community. The Rehab Place will be located at 824 E. Main Street, in the Moonlight Plaza, near Price Chopper. The 3,650 sq. ft. facility will offer physical therapy, including a sports clinical specialist.
Physical therapy allows people to improve the quality of their lives by helping them move freely again without pain and discomfort. Physical therapists work with people who are suffering from neck, back, joint or pelvic pain. This service includes treatment of dysfunction, balance, dizziness disorders and sports related injuries. People who have experienced a stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, motor vehicle injury, or neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease may also benefit from physical therapy.
Construction on the new rehabilitation clinic will begin in September, and it is anticipated to open in November. A physician referral will be required for scheduling appointments.
