| OMC announces new VP of Nursing |

OLATHE, KAN – Earlier this month, Elaine Patton was promoted to the position of Vice President of Nursing Services for Olathe Medical Center (OMC).
“I am very pleased with the quality of care and customer service standards that nursing has achieved under Sherry Rakes’ leadership and am confident Elaine will continue that trend,” said Frank H. Devocelle, President and CEO of Olathe Health System, Inc (OHSI).
Elaine has worked at OMC for almost 12 years. She has worked as an employee health nurse and infection control nurse. She has served as director of 3 North, 3 East PCU, Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab, Education and 4 North/4 South. Most recently she held the position of Chief of Nursing Services.
In her new role, Elaine’s key responsibilities will include direct oversight of all OMC Nursing Departments, Imaging Services and the Education Department. She has been working very closely with Sherry Rakes during her transition to the new role. |
