Here are five critical tests recommended for routine healthcare:
- Annual mammograms are recommended for women 40 or older (age for first baseline mammogram is 35). - Have your blood pressure checked by a physician regularly, at least every two years from age 18 to 65, annually over 65. Recommended blood pressure is lower than 120/80. Do you know your BP reading?
- Women 21 or older (or within 3 years of beginning sexual activity) should have a pelvic exam and Pap smear every one to three years. Search our physician locator to find an OB/GYN or primary care physician near you.
