About Your Miami County Medical Center Bill
All patients should familiarize themselves with the terms of their
insurance coverage. This will help you understand Miami County Medical Center’s
billing procedures and charges. Information regarding your account will be sent
to you, and your insurance company will be billed after your medical records
have been completed by your physician.
If You Have Health Insurance
Miami County Medical Center will file your insurance claims if you
provide the policy number and address of your insurance company. We will also
need a referral or pre-certification if this procedure is required by your
insurance company.
Physician Billing
You may receive separate bills from physicians who have been
involved in your care, including emergency, anesthesiology, pathology and
radiology. If you have questions about these bills, please contact the offices
directly.
